TLC Carton

TLC Carton is ideally located just off the Malahide Road and close to Beaumont Hospital. It is a purpose-built luxury nursing home designed to meet the individual needs of the older person in pleasant surroundings, whilst supporting independence.

The centre is ideally designed to provide high quality residential care as well as to facilitate shorter stays such as respite or step-down care. There are quiet rooms and areas for families to visit as well as large sitting/dining areas on all floors which have a variety of seating arrangements.

The ethos of TLC Carton is to promote an individualised person-centred approach to care for residents and their families. To ensure that we maintain the centre’s ethos, our staff are recruited, trained and encouraged to develop their skills to the highest standard.

We are a multi-disciplinary team that includes GPs and allied health professionals that support us in delivering the best quality care to residents. With residents, staff and families working together we make everyday life in the nursing home as social, stimulating and enjoyable as possible.

Care Types

Residential Nursing Care

We provide exceptional nursing care for people with both simple and complex needs.

Areas of specialty care include stroke or neurological injury, physical disability and long-term conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, cardiac or respiratory illness.

We are highly-experienced at caring for residents with one or more medical conditions, and adapting for common challenges in other areas such as hearing and mobility.

Dementia Care

We specialise in caring for people living with all types of dementia. We understand that it can be an emotional journey for all the family when a loved one is diagnosed with dementia and moving into full-time care is often a difficult decision.

We know how important it is to find/choose a care home where one is not defined by dementia. Our dedicated and experienced team have specifically chosen to work with this sector and are passionate about providing the best possible alternative for those who are no longer able to manage in their own home.

Convalescence Care

A hospital stay can be particularly traumatic experience. With demands on hospital beds high, a period of convalescence is normally required before returning home. Relaxation and recuperation with nursing supervision can restore the feeling of well being and enhance recovery back to fitness. In order to provide the highest standard of care, all our staff not only possess the necessary qualifications, but also take part in updated training to ensure that these standards are maintained. The pursuit of excellence in care and our commitment to maintaining that quality of care is embraced by our matron and is encouraged and shared by our valued and dedicated nursing and care staff team.

Respite Care

We consider respite care to be a vital support to people living in their own homes with the help of a relative or home help. When the time comes to consider full nursing home care, our staff will be there to consult with the resident, their carer, the G.P., hospital consultant or district nursing service so that an individual care plan may be established. This multi-disciplinary approach helps us to provide the most appropriate level of care within the nursing home.

Adult Services under 65

We provide specialised Nursing and Social care for adults between 18 and 65 years with a wide range of health problems, disabilities and acquired brain injury. We support individuals to realise their goals and potential, whilst meeting their specific assessed needs.
